Abstract Plant metabolome as the downstream product in biological information of flow starting from genomics is highly complex, and dynamically produces a wide range primary secondary metabolites, including ionic inorganic compounds, hydrophilic carbohydrates, amino acids, organic compounds associated with hydrophobic lipids. The complex metabolites present samples bring challenges to analytical tools for separating characterization metabolites. Analytical such nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) mass spectrometry have recently facilitated separation, characterization, quantification diverse chemical structures. massive amount data generated these need be handled using fast accurate bioinformatics databases. In this review, we focused on plant metabolomics acquisition various freely available workflows raw meaningful help biologists chemists move at same pace computational biologists.
